How was your Valentine's Day? I've had the most wonderful birthday + Valentine's day this year thanks to the best boyfriend on earth plus my sweetest girls and sisters. Shall update when i'm done collating all the photos from everywhere, i've so many photos in my folders waiting to be uploaded on Facebook and to be blogged but I'm really too lazy, not forgetting the fact that Prelims are in less than 3weeks time (& main exams in less than 3months time, holyshit?!) but i've yet to start studying proper.
Alright this is looooong overdue because I haven't had time to sort out the crazy amount of photos we took but I'm still gonna post about the trip because we started our 2012 with this short but mega awesome trip to Genting. :>
The night before was spent at Lau's crib for our New Year's sleepover, the last proper girls night with my besties before Lau left for Dublin again for another 6months of exchange. (Who goes for 1-year exchange anyway, to think I thought Mell's 6months was long enough, missing Lau so much now!)
So the night was spent doing some manicure, popping hello kitty crackers that Lau bought from Dublin, and while the two fell asleep halfway through Eat,Pray,Love at 4am I managed to stay awake by finishing up the movie (which sucked) cos I was too afraid that if I slept I definitely wouldn't be able to wake up in time to catch the 6am coach.
And at 5.45am, my two darlings woke up just to drive me down to the coach pick-up place, sweetest besties ever! That's us having breakfast at 6am, the sky was still dark.
On the coach, super spacious and comfortable (minus the "turbulence" when we were going up the hill, almost puked).

Finally reached after uhh, 6-7hours? Checked into our hotel, we stayed at Resort Hotel which was super awesome! Not sure if this hotel is new but the rooms were really pretty, spacious with double beds, and they had sparkling clean toilets which is one thing I'm super anal about when it comes to hotels.
Had lunch at a super over-priced and crazy crowded KFC (probably because it was New Year, the entire place was PACKED!) and off we went to the theme park!

If i'm not wrong this was the first ride we started queuing for (some dragon roller-coaster ride i think), and within 10mins the sky started to turn dark and there came a super heavy rain -.- Which explains why we ended up in teacups hahaha -->

Super misty! Mega love the weather there, it's like 24/7 air-conditioning.
After this it started pouring again, so we headed back to the hotel to dry off before dinner! And because we thought the theme-park closes at 6pm (that was what we saw from the website/counter) we threw our tags away which we totally regret in the end, cos after dinner we realised the rides were still operating -.-
Dinner at some restaurant half-way down the hill, forgot the name Mushroom Farm restaurant or something.
Did some shopping after dinner!
The two kiddos went back to their rooms while Fatty & i did some shopping for my sisters, bought quite some stuff for the little one. Initially had plans to have some drinks at Starbucks or to visit the Safari Pub at Maxims Hotel, but by the time we got back the two pigs were totally knocked out -.- Rang their doorbell a couple of times, no response. By the time we got back with supper (cup noodles which is a must for all our staycation hehe), still no response from the ringing of doorbells. I half thought they were kidnapped or something until Janny picked up the phone and immd went back to sleep thereafter hahaha such pigs seriously!
That's Fatty picking out cup noodles for us, which took him about 10mins cos he kept picking and shaking, picking and shaking, trying to listen to see which one is less "crushed" -.-
Breakfast the next morning! Before Fatty & i went for a casino tour hahaha we were like two noobs walking around wow-ing at all the ahpehs and aunties doing their thang. Pity we didn't have enough time on hand, if not we would've tried our luck too!

Board the coach at 3pm, but only reached Sg around 11pm cos of the jam, sit until butt pain seriously. Had supper and it was home sweet home! Can't wait till our next trip, Hong Kong after exams wheehee!
