CHINESENEWYEAR 2012,

So this year's Chinese New Year was mostly spent in Malaysia (my parents were born in Malaysia, which explains why my grandparents live there), plus some visitings in SG, family gatherings, visiting with Fatty and also a CNY dinner with my dearest OUAM girls!

CHINESENEWYEAR EVE.

Woke up at 5am to set off for Pontian in an attempt not to be caught in the crazy jam, luckily our efforts paid off. Started off with my favourite roti prata for breakfast, no pratas in Singapore can ever beat these. Not to mention these are dirt-cheap too, unlike those expensive $1.60 Jalan Kayu pratas which ain't even yummy at all.

CHINESENEWYEAR 初一.
Was up bright and early even though the previous night was spent gambling with the cousins till 3plus, got dressed (simple maroon flare dress this year, which turned out red in most of the photos, grr) and off we went for visiting! There wasn't much visiting to do in Malaysia since all the relatives will gather at our grandparents' houses and most of the us live in Singapore so we never really had the tradition of visiting during CNY.

Crab feast with the OUAM girls, it's kind of saddening that the group is becoming smaller and smaller, from Kenny & the 7 of us to the usual 4. But i'm still super thankful for these 3 precious girls hehe.

Had ice-cream for desserts at Salted Caramel. Heard alot of raves about this place but the ice-cream is totally mehhhhh, can't be compared to other ice-cream parlours like Daily Scoop, Island Cremery, Haato etc.

Alright, time to get back to my books before hitting the gym with my new running shoes! Been gaining too much weight from all that feasting, my face's becoming rounder and rounder, tsk.
